All Purpose Fertilizer blend 3-3-3 (contains Alfalfa) crafted as a general purpose fertilizer, without the fear of burning the root system as the nutrient concentration is mild, suggested N-P-K ratio is 3-3-3 contains secondary nutrients Ca-Mg-s in ratio 1-0.7-0.4, promotes earthworm population thereby enriching soil micro environment. Since this is a Slow to moderate release fertilizer the nutrients are released after some time approx 10-15 days but at an uniform rate and over longer duration. Good to use when you wish to get value of money as plant and soil gets ample time to absorb nutrients. All purpose fertilizer blend tends to improve the soil structure allowing it to absorb more water.
Dosage for All purpose fertilizer blend 3-3-3:
Following is the Suggested Dosage
For new plantings, add ¼ cup per gallon of soil and mix thoroughly OR add 5-10 lbs per cubic yard. For established plants, lightly mix 1 tbsp per gallon into the soil surface every other month during the growing season
To prepare new gardens, apply 2.5-5 lbs per 100 square feet and thoroughly mix into the top 3” of soil. For new transplants, add ¼ cup per hole, mix into soil and water in well. To feed established plants, side dress ¼-½ cup in Fall or early Spring to promote fruiting and flowering during the growing season.
Application method for the blend:
Dig a trench around 2-3 inches deep all around the plant leaving 3 inches from the plant trunk. Uniformly spread the fertilizer ( it is recommended to start with 30 grams of the fertilizer) in the trench and then cover the trench with soil. Water the plant till some water comes out from the bottom of pot. refer following pictures for clarity.
