Following is the Suggested Dosage
Containers:
For new plantings, add 1 Scoop per gallon (5 Kgs) of soil and mix thoroughly OR add 5-10 lbs per cubic yard. For established plants, lightly mix 1 tbsp per gallon (5 kgs) into the soil surface every month during the growing season. Please increase the quantity @ 1 Tablespoon per foot of plant height or pot diameter whichever is larger. It is always suggested that the fertilizer doe is started with small quantities.
Flower Beds:
To prepare new gardens, apply 2.5-5 lbs per 100 square feet and thoroughly mix into the top 3” of soil. For new transplants, add 1 Scoop per hole, mix into soil and water in well. To feed established plants, side dress ¼-½ Scoop every month during the growing season to promote fruiting and flowering during the growing season. Please increase the quantity @ 1 Tablespoon per foot of plant height.
Application method :
Dig a trench around 2-3 inches deep all around the plant leaving 3 inches from the plant trunk. Uniformly spread the fertilizer ( it is recommended to start with 30 grams of the fertilizer) in the trench and then cover the trench with soil. Water the plant till some water comes out from the bottom of pot. refer following pictures for clarity.
Is it Safe
Ecotika’s Fertilizer blends have vegan ingredients and are safe to use around children. However for peace of mind please do not allow children to put the product in mouth. Left over product must be properly packed to avoid ingression of moisture or water. Occasional overdose by up to 50% of recommended dose will not harm your plant as this is a slow release type, just ensure to maintain the average application rate.
